At the foot of the six hundred year old Ming city wall there is an abandoned cotton mill, which is now being re-designed and re-used as a design agency and coffee shop, with a new design concept that contrasts with the city wall and factory building of the past. We used a minimalist design language: black rock panels and stainless steel to complete the facade and cafe design. In the interior office space design, we retained the old steel windows, sloping roofs and other elements, and added pure natural Okoume combined with the subtlety of micro-cement to create a simple, strong, green and environmentally friendly art space. The combination of old and new decoration elements seems to be a dialogue between the past and the modern, contributing to the continuation of urban culture and the development of modern design in both directions.

If the office is defined as a closed whole, the designer aims for visitors to feel soothed and relaxed upon entering. In an open and transparent spatial order, the design seeks a blend of freedom and privacy, ensuring seamless communication among the team while also nurturing individual independence. This project involves a self-use office space for a design studio, where the design endeavors to narrate a story of psychological perception through spatial language. As a place for design, research, and imagination, the space breaks away from a closed sense of order to infuse emotion, thereby liberating both body and mind. It constructs a positive work-life balance, inspiring collisions of imagination and creativity. With forward-thinking design mindset, the designer explores how to integrate the sensibility and enjoyment of life into rational work environments. Focusing on the transition between free work and relaxed living patterns, they create an open and integrated space.

This is a project for a mobile office which is based on an old mini bus. It has a full spec office environment, which can offer ad hoc and special time to the workers.
Intimate feeling is created by wood louvers lapping inside space of the bus despite of changing outside. It’s possible to feel the nature by opening double door. The blue grey and mirror are on the surface, like a classic car.
In the latest circumstance, It’s important how to use the time in life. Which means the work time is in the criterion of how to live.
Not like a functional RV, the comfortable and high quality mobile space would offer another rich choice in your life.

This case conforms to the various structures and restrictions of the venue, and builds an interesting spatial relationship through layout and use of the position of the original beam and pillar.
Just like walking in a huge pores and stones, the field of vision has continued to change with the movement of the pace. The application of a large amount of old wood is nostalgic
The simple atmosphere. The large paper lamp device in the empty place is the metaphor of the clouds and mist in the valley.

Nestled in Zhuhai, China, Artisanal Curve is an 88-square-meter office that defies its compact footprint. With a restricted budget, the design team has transformed the mundane into the extraordinary. The centerpiece is the "Artisanal Curve" – a dynamic, 3D white stroke inspired by wind and Chinese calligraphy. This sculptural element organizes the space, seamlessly transitioning between reception, gallery, and meeting areas.
By blurring art and utility, the Curve breathes life into the once-sterile office, replacing drab cubicles with a captivating, gallery-like ambiance. Custom furnishings enchant the senses, from a sinuous metal lamp to a floating conference table. To combat low ceilings, a mirrored surface enlarges the spatial experience, allowing daylight to create a continually shifting, luminous quality.
Artisanal Curve blurs work and leisure, the mundane and extraordinary. It is a refined sanctuary where employees can convene, share ideas, and experience elevated, luxurious living within a limited footprint.
